We are a team of 12 who want to make a difference to the community.

Stamford Mummies is an exceptional parenting community that provides support and resources for parents in the Stamford area. Our team of 12 dedicated individuals is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. We offer a variety of events and online resources to help parents navigate the challenges of parenthood. We are a community and we understand the joys and struggles of raising children.

We are a non profit community group and we do not get any money for what we do. We are all volunteers and just want the best for al families in the area.

As a community group we're not liable for any of the businesses and recommendations that are advertised on this website.

Our Story

Stamford Mummies was set up by the amazing Victoria Norton. She created the group and built it up to over 2,000 members.

Last year Victoria decided to hand it over to Sara who was running another baby group on Facebook. Sara took it over and has now built up 12 amazing mummies who all support each other and make the group/page what it is today. We are always looking for new ideas and new groups. We have done charity walks, summer meet ups and even organised a Dad's group. We have so much more to share with you and we hope you can't wait to see you at our events.

Sara Long

Hi everyone l'm Sara and I am the face behind the Stamford mummy.

As some of you are aware l'm not a mummy, l'm a nanny however, I know all about what's happening in and around Stamford. I decided to get a group of mummies together to build the Stamford mummy team up so, we have a range of mummies with different aged children Over the past couple of months we've been working behind the scenes to organise events, posts and future plans.

Nicola Entwistle

Hi I'm Nicola. I'm a single mummy to my son Lewis who is 18 months old. Being a parent has been the perfect way to start my 40's! I've been taking my son to various baby groups since he was 4 weeks old as most of my friends all had grown up children and Iwanted to meet people with children of a similar age. I joined the Stamford Mummy team to continue meeting new people and to also offer a friendly face and support for others. I really look forward to meeting you all on our adventures

Becky Hawkes

Hi my name is Becky and l'm a first time mum to my daughter Amelia, who is 15 months old. Prior to becoming a mum I worked as an events manager in hospitality but due to the unsociable hours and being a single parent I am now a full time mummy and absolutely love it. I know being both a first time mum and a single parent it can be daunting to go to those first babies groups and make other mum friends so wanted to become part of the Stamford Mummies team to help offer support, advice and friendship to any one who needs it.

Caroline Killington-Parker

Hi, I’m Caroline and I’m a mum of 2. Maisie Scarlett in the stars and our rainbow baby Jack. I’ve been out of work for a number of years but I am currently in the process of returning to part time work to work around Jacks nursery hours. Being someone who has gone through the loss of a child, I want others who have been through similar to know there’s always someone to talk to in me. If you ever see me out and about don’t be afraid to just say hello or drop me a message and I’ll be more than happy to chat.

Isabelle Andrews

Hi! My name is Izzy and I have recently joined the wonderful Stamford Mummy Team! As a soon to be mum, I want share my journey of entering motherhood. I am looking forward to joining local baby groups and making new friends, to connect with along the way!

Stacey Ding

Hi I'm Stacey I am a mum of three; 2 girls and a boy currently 9, 4 and a baby. I have raised my children in Stamford and have really enjoying trying a variety of groups and social events for families. I'm keen to support families to learn about the many family friendly opportunities Stamford has to offer and offer parenting advice and support also. I'm hoping to train as a peer supporter for Association of breast feeding mothers soon as well as train in KG hypnobirthing after having the most amazing hypnobirth experience myself recently. I also work as a social worker with many years experience supporting children and families. I

I'm Hana, I live in Stamford & l'm a Mama of two little ones, age 4&6. I've loved bringing my children up in Stamford because I've found it such a family friendly area with so much on offer fo little ones. We've all heard the saying that 'it takes a village' and I truly believe this!! I want to help local mums to make connections and know where they can go with their littles. Rachel Hart

Hey, it's great to meet you all, I'm Rachel, and I'm mum to Hazel, who just turned four and Eleanor, who is 19 months old. I come from a background in event management and am currently navigating the working mum balance, which is not easy. I moved to the stamford area when Hazel was one, so I am continually exploring what activities and events are out there. I wanted to be part of the Stamford Mummy team to help spread the word about the fantastic opportunities this area has to offer and help mums through this incredible roller coaster of parenting.

Alexandra Constant

Hi my names Alexandra l'm a mummy of two. Amelia who is 8 and I've just recently had a baby boy. I have been a part of the Stamford mummies team since the start and have enjoyed seeing its growth and how it's been such an invaluable tool for families. I run The Mill Birth and Wellbeing Centre which specialises in all things birth, babies and beyond so this really is my passion! I am also a Mindfulness teacher and run the Stamford Gingerbread Single Parent Group.

Rachel Louise

Hello! I'm Rachel, and I've been part of the Stamford Mummy group since it began in 2017, just

after my daughter was born. Through this wonderful group, I have forged lasting friendships and my aim is to support fellow parents as we tackle the joys and challenges of parenting. Balancing my responsibilities as a single mum and a teacher presents its own set of challenges, but the invaluable support this group offers makes it all feel more manageable.

Chrissy Townsend

Hi l'm Chrissy and I'm a mummy to a 9 year old, 4 year old and 1 year old. I've been part of the Stamford Mummies team for 7 years. l'm a stay at home mum but am also part time studying for my psychology degree and hope to one day work with children. I'm a huge believer that a strong social network is important to helping you through parenthood and Stamford - and the Stamford Mummy page/group - are great for this. I've met some of my best friends through Stamford baby groups and hope the pages can

help others find that too!

Sarah Harrington

Hello I'm Sarah, Mum to two boys, aged 4 and an under 1. I live in Stamford and am so pleased to be joining the Stamford Mummy team. My oldest was born 2 weeks before 2020 lockdown and we missed out on an awful lot of groups and activities in his first year or so. Apart from outdoor baby massage with the lovely Julie

Bickerton! This time round I'm making up for it and enjoy going for walks and coffees and plays

groups/activities with my littlest one. I love to shop and support local and we're looking forward to sharing our adventures and

recommendations with you all. And, as a big supporter of mental health and wellbeing, I'm a big believer in Mums meeting up and talking - the real important talk like how tired/frustrated/emotional/ physically run down you might feel, as well as the lovely happy fun talk. I hope this group helps people to find their

villages'.
